I am so proud of Team Linda. We ran a good race funded by grassroots and the support of incredibly talented volunteers. We worked hard and had fun. We knocked on 7551 doors and volunteers wrote 9000 postcards. We got endorsed by my opponent’s campaign chair and the conservative Chicago Tribune.
I didn’t win, but take comfort in the fact that both Obama and Lincoln lost their first Illinois races.
