A Great Way To Celebrate Earth Day

Volunteers Needed for Kane County Recycling Event

Join Team Linda when we volunteer for the May 4th Kane County Recycling Event.  The success of this huge event depends on community volunteers.   Linda and her volunteers helped last year and are fired up to do it again. You’ll work hard, but it’s very satisfying to help so many residents responsibly recycle!  And it was fun too. It’s amazing how much stuff was saved from the landfill to be re-used or re-purposed.

May 4th will be the first Kane County recycling event this year.  We’ll be assisting with confidential document shredding, and the collection of paints & aerosols, clothing & small home goods. The time commitment for volunteers is ~7:15am – 12:30pm. Lunch and breakfast snacks will be provided.   The time passes quickly, and you’ll be busy from start to finish.

The collection center will be in the parking lot Saturday, May 4th at the circuit clerk’s building at 540 S. Randall Rd., St. Charles!

We will sign up as a team. So, if you’re interested, please contact us at skramersanders@gmail.com – we’ll be delighted to sign you up. To learn more about Kane County Recycling: Kane County Green Guide 2024
